I inherited my obsession

with gear and branding from my dad, Kurt, whose taste for mechanical design and 1970s ski aesthetics – Lange posters, Vuarnet sunglasses, BMW 2002 sedans and model airplanes – left an indelible mark on my young mind.

Frequent family treks from Colorado’s Front Range to the nearby mountains around Winter Park and Eldora solidified my love for the outdoors and a deep interest in the gear that enabled us to get amongst it, while a close uncle whose graphics landed on US Ski Team equipment and apparel from Spyder in the 1990s further piqued my curiosity around both technical and visual design

Countless experiences from an early age with both ‘good’ and ‘bad’ products in rigorous environments gave me a discerning sense for items that fully met the needs of their intended use… or didn’t.

After college, my first professional experience with Backcountry Access in Boulder, CO introduced me to the intricacies of the product cycle and allowed me to participate fully in each step, from initiation to end-of-life. I’ve continued to build this skillset throughout my career, in various roles at notable brands including K2 Sports, Revel Bikes and Flylow Apparel.

Following a brief detour into Elementary Education, I returned to the outdoor industry during the Covid pandemic, ultimately managing a team of eight at Revel Bikes while receiving an MBA from Western Colorado University in 2024. My capstone focused on the brand launch and Go-To-Market processes for a line of sustainable mountain bike apparel. I’ve since earned additional professional certifications in apparel manufacturing and footwear development, and am working towards a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from the Project Management Institute.

From a tween memorizing footwear specs in Eastbay sneaker catalogs and drooling over the fastest looking skis and bikes at my local shop, to an experienced product leader implementing Agile methodologies to achieve Go-To-Market success and developing comprehensive data analysis platforms to enhance SKU performance across channels, my journey has prepared me for just about any professional challenge in the product realm and beyond.

I’m a keen collaborator with the breadth of knowledge to work cross-functionally throughout an organization, and a diligent learner able to dive deeply into any subject. I love each phase of seeing a project through to completion and would be thrilled to join your team in that capacity.
